I call this Generative Social Art. I program machines to create these pieces. Each piece has a theme. As a 'starting point', the design systems are fed data from the Internet on a certain topic -
for example mentions of a #hashtag on social media. This starting point influences the shapes, colors, placement, etc. Each piece is unique.
